James Keyes is a master’s level clinician that is licensed as a social worker and is qualified to work with adults as well as adolescents with a variety of mental health problems. In addition, Jim is certified nationally by ICAADA and NAADAC as a highly trained professional in working with substance abusing and addicted adults and adolescents. With the recent passage of Indiana licenser for qualified addictions counselors, Jim will also be a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor.
Since the beginning of his career in human services field in 1976, Jim has become a experienced professional whose has worked with a diverse population for more than the past 30 years. As well as working the past 17 years in an outpatient setting.
In addition to his direct clinical work with both adults and adolescents he has authored two booklets on adolescent substance abuse, addiction and provides training to professional on successful substance abuse treatment approaches with adolescents. He has developed court ordered counseling programs and has worked as a consultant in a variety of settings.
He is supervised by Dr. James Brown psychiatrist who has life long history of service to that person living in central Indiana. Most insurance companies often cover his work under third party benefits and he has the flexibility to work with those who are uninsured or not covered for mental health or substance abuse treatment.
